The Almeida Theatre in north London has now announced the full cast for their upcoming production of Oresteia, which runs as part of their Greek Season from 29 May - 18 July 2015, with an official opening on 5 June 2015.

Joining the previously announced Lia Williams as Klytemnestra will be Amelia Baldock, Lorna Brown, Jessica Brown Findlay, Rudi Dharmalingam, Ann Firbank, Ilan Galkoff, Joshua Higgott, Cameron Lane, John Mackay, Clara Read, Eve Salama, Bobby Smalldridge, Luke Thompson, Angus Wright and Hara Yannas.

Aeschylus' classic drama will be presented in a new version created and directed by Robert Icke, with design by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting by Natasha Chivers, sound by Tom Gibbons and video by Tim Reid.

"Orestes' parents are at war. A family drama spanning several decades, a huge, moving, bloody saga, Aeschylus' greatest and final play asks whether justice can ever be done - and continues to resonate more than two millennia after it was written."

Lia Williams has previously appeared at the Almeida in Harold Pinter's 'Celebration'. In a long association with Harold Pinter, Lia has performed in 'The Homecoming' with Ian Holm, 'The Room', 'The Lover', 'The Collection' and 'The Hothouse' directed by Ian Rickson (all National Theatre). Harold Pinter directed Lia in 'Oleanna' at the National Theatre and in the West End with David Suchet.

Tickets for the new productions in the Greek Season are now on sale.
