Loserville new musical at the Garrick Theatre from 1 Oct

Loserville, a new musical by Elliot Davis and James Bourne, which played at the West Yorkshire Playhouse this summer, will open in the West End's Garrick Theatre 17 Oct 2012, following previews from 1 Oct - booking to 2 March 2013.

It's 1971. Computer geek Michael Dork and his misfit friends Lucas, Marvin and Francis, are about to change the world. It's just that no-one knows it yet. But, when new girl Holly arrives in town, all of Michael's dreams seem to be coming true - at last a girl with looks and brains that actually notices him. But when rich kid Eddie discovers Holly's dark secret, he turns his back on girlfriend Leia, and sets out to ruin Michael's future dreams.

Directed by Steven Dexter, the cast includes Aaron Sidwell (Michael), Eliza Hope Bennett (Holly), Stewart Clarke (Eddie), Charlotte Harwood (Leia), Richard Lowe (Lucas), Lil' Chris (Francis), Daniel Buckley (Marvin), Jade Albertsen, Sophie Ayers, Laura Bennett, Robbie Boyle, Matthew Bradley, Olly Buxton, Andrew Carthy, Freya Field, Daniel Hall, Lauren Hall, Ollie Hannifan, Dan Krikler, Duncan Leighton, Ashley Luke Lloyd, Megan Louch, Andy Shaw, Sarah Watson, Witney White.

Loserville is designed by Francis O'Connor, choreographed by Nick Winston, costumes by Francis O'Connor & Stephen Snell, sound by Simon Baker, lighting by Howard Harrison. Produced in London by Kevin Wallace Limited, TC Beech Limited, West Yorkshire Playhouse and Youth Music Theatre UK.
