Tickets now on sale for Moira Buffini 's "Dinner" at the Wyndham's Theatre from 4 Dec 03

Tickets are now on sale for Moira Buffini's Dinner (originally seen at the National Theatre's temporary Loft theatre last November), which opens at the Wyndham's Theatre 9 Dec 03, following previews from 4 Dec 03, and booking to 20 Mar 04.

The play features Harriet Walter , who starred in the original production as 'Paige'. Her London stage credits include "The Children's Hour" at the Lyttelton, NT in 1994; "Old Times" at the Wyndham's in 1995; "Life x 3" at the Lyttelton, NT in 2000 and Old Vic in 2001; "The Royal Family" at the Haymarket in 2001; "Much Ado About Nothing" at the Haymarket in 2002.

The cast also includes: Nicholas Farrell, Penny Downie, Flora Montgomery, Paul Kaye

It is directed by Fiona Buffini and designed by Rachel Blues.

An artist, a scientist and a sexpot are coming to dinner. Paige , hostess extraordinaire, is celebrating the publication of her husband's best-seller about the psychological apocalypse. The arrival of Mike, marooned in the foggy lane having crashed his van, provides an unexpected addition to the evening's entertainment. A silent waiter, sourced from an obscure website, completes the picture. Primordial Soup is first on the menu - let the dinner from hell begin.
