"WOMAN IN BLACK" CAST CHANGES

Cast changes have been announced in The Woman in Black, at the Fortune Theatre.

Robert Demeger & Timothy Watson take over the roles in the two-hander from 12th Aug 02. Both actors have previously appeared in the show which has been running for over 13 years.

This new cast is the 24th combination.

This ghost story written by Stephen Mallatratt from the novel by Susan Hill, opened at the Fortune Theatre on 7 June 1989 . (The show first opened at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough in 1987). Directed by Robin Herford, designed by Michael Holt with lighting by Kevin Sleep, it is currently taking bookings to 30th Nov 02

When a solicitor goes to wind up the affairs of a deceased woman,he learns about her strange reclusive life,while alone in a remote and strange house.Years later , desperate to exorcise the ghosts of the past he recounts his experiences.
