With some exceptions, West End theatres generally include large (at least multiple hundred seats) theatres located in the West End neighbourhood. Fringe, or Off-West End, theatres include smaller theatres in that neighbourhood as well as theatres of all sizes located elsewhere in the city.
There are hundreds of Off-West End theatres located all across London that you can discover. Generally, any performance space located outside the West End district, as well as small theatres within the neighbourhood, are considered "Off-West End."
