Casting for Instructions for Correct Assembly at the Royal Court announced
The cast of Thomas Eccleshare's Instructions for Correct Assembly at the Royal Court has been announced.
The play, which is directed by Hamish Pirie, is about Harry and Max who decide to give parenthood a second shot armed with an easy-to-follow manual and '30-day money back guarantee'.
It will feature Michele Austin (The Seagull, Lyric Hammersmith), Jason Barnett (War Horse, National Theatre), Mark Bonnar (The Duchess of Malfi, Old Vic), Jane Horrocks (King Lear, Old Vic), Shaniqua Okwok (stage debut) and Brian Vernel (Barbarians, Young Vic).
Eccleshare's previous writing credits include Pastoral (Hightide Festival), I'm Not Here Right Now (Soho Theatre) and Heather (Bush Theatre), and he has won the Verity Bargate and Catherine Johnson Awards.
Pirie's last production at the Royal Court was Goats, and his previous work at the theatre includes Violence & Son, Who Cares and Teh Internet is Serious Business.
Instructions... is the first production of the Royal Court's newly announced season, which also includes The Cane by Mark Ravenhill, Rory Mullarkey's play Pity and Debbie Tucker Green's play about race, Ear for Eye. Click here to read more about the Royal Court's season.
