Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is one of the America dramatist's most well-known and popular plays and has been revived numerous times on Broadway and in London's West End. Originally opening on Broadway at the Morosco Theater on 24 March 1955 it went on to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama that same year. Its West End premiere was at the Comedy Theatre in a production directed by Peter Hall in 1958, the year the film version was also released.

A West End revival ran at the Lyric Theatre in 2001 as well as Debbie Allen's successful Broadway version which transferred to the Novello Theatre in 2009 starring James Earl Jones and Adrian Lester.

Set in the Mississippi Delta plantation home of Big Daddy, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is an explosive domestic drama that focuses on ex-sportsman Brick and his wife Maggie 'the cat'. As the pair have so far failed to have children Maggie's concerns over their inheritance of the family estate grow and she attempts to rekindle her physical relationship with Brick. The news of Big Daddy's cancer shocks the entire family who each want their part of the estate after his death, leading Maggie to adopt desperate measures to secure a child.

Sienna Miller's stage credits include As You Like it (Wyndham's Theatre) and Flare Path (Haymarket) in London's West End and After Miss Julie and Cabaret on Broadway.

Jack O'Connell first found fame on the E4 series 'Skins' followed by the film 'This is England'. He won the 2015 BAFTA Rising Star Award following roles in '71' and 'Unbroken'.
