Blake Harrison to join cast of Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre

It has been announced that Blake Harrison will take over the role of Ogie in Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre next month.

Best known for playing Neil Sutherland in The Inbetweeners from 2008-2010 and subsequent film spinoffs, Harrison's theatre credits include The End of the Pier at the Park Theatre in 2018 and Step 9 (of 12) at Trafalgar Studios. Further performing credits include A Very English Scandal for the BBC.

Harrison will join the cast of Waitress from 17th June, assuming the role of Ogie from Jack McBrayer, who will play his final performance on 15th June.

He joins the previously announced Ashley Roberts who will make her West End debut as Dawn, as well as Lucie Jones who will take over the role of Jenna from Katharine McPhee who will also star in the production from 17th June.

With an original score by Sara Bareilles, Waitress follows Jenna Hunterson, a waitress and pie maker who enters a competition in order to start a new life for her and her unborn child. The musical features songs including 'She Used to be Mine' and 'Opening Up'.

Waitress is currently at the Adelphi Theatre.
